Robert Nshimiyimana holds Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Mechanization from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM), earned in 2015 and in 2014 was awarded a prestigious opportunity to participate in Agrostudies in Israel, where he gained hands-on training in advanced and smart agriculture. This intensive program equipped him with practical skills in horticulture, irrigation technologies, dairy and poultry management, and biodiversity conservation, further enhancing his capacity to integrate modern agricultural innovations into local farming systems.He has built a robust career in the agriculture sector, combining technical expertise, research experience, and practical fieldwork.
Robert has collaborated with leading agronomy and research institutions, contributing to projects funded and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, the Australian Council for Educational Research, Research Support Services Group, Smart Field Rwanda, East Africa Research and Data Analysis (ERDA), Incisive Africa, IPSOS Kenya, Ethical Research Solution, Suyana Foundation, Chemonecs/Somumenye under Rwanda Education Board, the World Food Programme, and World Vision. His roles in these projects strengthened his expertise in agricultural research, data analysis, and evidence-based solutions for food security and rural development.
Served as an Agronomist at AGRESOL Ltd, Robert applied his technical skills to improve crop production systems, promote sustainable farming practices, and support farmers with practical solutions tailored to local contexts.
